Looking through a looking glass and what do I see

The world magnified 10 times in front of me

The little details so often missed

A smile on a face after being kissed

The tears in eyes when missing a true love

Precious gifts from up above

Broken pieces of a heart shattered

Picked up by the wind and promptly scattered

The tiny things that make life worth living

That causes a heart to become giving

I see great things in such small spaces

Memories of times friends and places

Joy moves me and embraces my heart

The small things in life of which I am apart

I will see closer now with eyes so clear

And look at each day as blessing forgetting all fear
